Reviews - What do customers think about Best of Blue?
Blue makes 'the blues' leave - in any religion! Sep 16, 2008
I have loved Rabbi Blue from the very first time I heard this funny and clever man speak on the radio in London [England] back in the 80's. I am a mixture of beliefs: born a protestant, schooled by catholics, taken to synagogue by friends, a some-time pagan leaning towards buddhism. I actually saw Rabbi Blue one day in Finchley, while racing back to a class I was taking: I recognized him from all the fly-covers of his books I'd read [kitchen blues, bolts from the blue, the blue guide to the here and hereafter.....] he was not too tall and a bit round, smiling, and my impulse was to just throw my arms around him and thank him for all the wonderful insights into life and cooking and religions and the soothing effect of chocolate! I didn't, and it's one of my regrets in this life. Do yourself a HUGE favor, and read this or any one of his books: it matters not what your faith is, he has a wonderful heart, humanity and sense of humor!
