Publishers Description College years are tough years. Adjusting and thriving can be a risky journey when you leave the security of your home town and enter the world of many options and little accountability. No wonder that the college years represent the largest attrition rate in the church These college students long for a spiritual connection to the church and to their Christian values. Since 1997, Rev. LaVon Post has tried to bridge that gap with daily devotionals that speak to the issues that college students face daily. These devotionals have been sent faithfully to several thousand students representing more than 60 universities. This book is a compilation of those devotionals sent to college students since 1997. Regardless of your age, these devotionals will be an encouragement and daily spiritual vitamin to you. Read them daily and enjoy the practical wisdom and gentle encouragement that help us in our walk with God. Rev. LaVon Post is a pastor with a shepherd's heart. With a strong conviction that agape love is always practical, Rev. Post has tried to encourage and help many people though out his 30-year career. He is the founder of Harvest of Hope, a charity in two Arkansas cities. This charity raises money to feed the hungry in the state of Arkansas. He serves on the Camp Aldersgate Board, a Christian camp in Little Rock that ministers to children with special needs and chronic diseases. Young adults, especially college students, have always been on Rev. Post's heart. Rev. Post has received several recognitions for his email ministry with young adults. In 1999, he was recognized by the Interpreter magazine for his excellence in young adult ministry. In 2000, he was given a citation of appreciation by the Arkansas State Senate for his ministry to college students.

Reviews - What do customers think about Good Morning!! How Are My College Buddies??
Great way to start or end your day! Apr 23, 2008
As one of the original members of Bro. Post's email group to receive his daily devotionals, I have been a fan, supporter and die-hard reader for going on 11 years. These devotionals are easily applied to your daily life and fit into what one goes through throughout life whether a college student, young adult or of any age group. I recommend anyone searching for some way to keep themselves grounded and close to their faith to read this book and use it as a tool to provide more insight into how one approaches life.
Rev Post's insights are now available for all! Mar 17, 2008
I have been a fan of Rev. Post's devotionals since the Fall of 2005. His devotionals are written in a very "down to Earth" manner, but they consistently touch my heart. I have yet to find another author that has done a better job of explaining the unconditional Agape love that Jesus instructed us to have for Him and for one another. And there is no fluffy "prosperity" teaching here that I see in some other daily devotionals. Rev. Post lets you know that we all fail on occasion, that we all struggle, and that the Lord seems to love us even more in our struggles (if it is possible for the Lord to love you and I any more than He already does!). This book of his "greatest hits" is a dream come true to the recipients of his e-mail devotionals. Buy two...one for you and one for someone in your life that needs encouragement. It will not disappoint. Oh...I'm not in college. This book is awesome for all ages.
