Extaordinary! Nov 27, 2009
The Uncommon Woman, is no ordinary book. It challenges your thought processes in everyday life. Encouraging us to take hold of all the power we have been given as daughters of the King. This book will undoubtedly draw you closer to the heart of God, as you learn to look at situations through His loving eyes. This is a life changing, wonderful book that I will refer to often.
LOVED this book!!! Oct 25, 2009
This was a fantastic book. It had SO many great things in it but didn't leave me feeling like a failure when I was finished.
Great bible study resource! Sep 1, 2009
I would recommend this book to any woman of all ages! Susie does a wonderful job of reflecting the Lord's beautiful love for us and reminds us of who he created us to be as women of his. She relates so well with each of her readers and she uses her own life examples to show how God's word gives direction and power to the common struggles women face everyday. I felt so overwhelmed by the Lord's love and renewed as I read "The Uncommon Woman." I plan to use it to lead a high school girls bible study this fall and think it will be perfect. SHe does a great job of incorporating questions and scripture at the end of each chapter. You will love this book!
All Christian Women need to read this book... Aug 24, 2009
This book is not for wimpy christians. It is all about the mature, meat eating walk! I was challenged, and prodded. The iron was clanging and I am off to doing good works; (i.e iron sharpening iron, and spurring each other on to good works!)
If you listen while you are reading you won't put this book down without great insight and inspiration to keep going on the narrow road!
Great book! Jul 15, 2009
A group of us used this book as a bible study and it was awesome! I would definitely recommend this book. I have heard Susie Larson speak at womens' conferences and she is a dynamic woman of God. I was very encouraged by this book.
