Publishers Description
Journey back to the days of frontier battles, when the rush to acquire land created unlikely friends-and enemies. In The Path of the Warrior, Josiah Marston is summoned home to Kentucky. Along with his Miami Indian friends, including his blood-sister Bright Star, he begins the perilous trek back to his home. Josiah's short stay in Kentucky is filled with joy and grief. A special reunion gives him more understanding about his dead parents, and he meets Daniel Boone, an old friend of his father. But he has to cope with tragedy again when a bullet meant for him kills someone he loves. He sets out for the Indiana territory to look for his Indian blood-brother Young Deer and to find the identity of the unknown person who wants him dead. Once he arrives in the Indiana Territory, Josiah meets Governor William Henry Harrison and renews his friendship with the Shawnee chief Tecumseh. Josiah finds himself caught-up in a brewing conflict filled with politics and far-reaching implications. What is the path of a true warrior? Is it only being a fighter in times of war-or does it go deeper than that? Join Josiah Marston as he searches for his calling while he seeks to bring peace between whites and Indians. His story is not only historically relevant, it's an inspirational tale that celebrates the satisfaction of doing what is good and right, even in the face of danger. Reviews - What do customers think about The Path of the Warrior?

Great Book  Jun 7, 2007
The Path of the Warrior is a very enjoyable book. A story so believable it is hard to think of it as fiction because it has so many historical facts. A fast read and will appeal to all ages. George and Dora in Ky.
