Reviews - What do customers think about God And Me! V2: Devotions For Girls (Ages 2-5)?
God and Me! 2 Ages 2-5 Aug 31, 2007
My daughter & I enjoy this little book; however, the questions & some of the activities are for more older girls. She is 2 1/2. She will probably get more out of it in another year. Most of the topics are focused on issues like...being honest, careful, thoughtful, etc ("I can be my best for God" & "I can live for God"). But there are a few focused more on God's character. I was hoping for more foundational verses on the attributes of God...not how we should live. I haven't looked at the first book, which may start with these foundational things. The pages are colorful & fun.
Awesome Book!! Apr 10, 2006
I recommend this book to anyone!! My [...] daughter loves this devotional! She does not want me to read anything else. It has a memory verse for each page, a wonderful story/lesson that goes with it, and questions that you can discuss with your child. I like how is is broken into 6 sections, each with a different focus. If you are looking for a way to get your child interested in devotions this is it. I will be purchasing the other books, like this one, as my daughter grows older.
An easy way to teach your daughter Christian values Sep 5, 2004
I love this book! We use it in our home with our three daughters, who are 3,5, and 7. I read a story each morning to them as they eat breakfast. Each day features a story about a girl learning about a specific value (courage, love, perseverance, etc) though typical childhood events. Each day also features a few questions, a prayer, Bible verse, and an activity. This book is so nice because it makes it easy to be intentional about something most of us want to do - teach Christian values to our daughters. Keep one near your kitchen table or beside your daughter's bed. You'll be glad you did - and so will she!
