Item description for You Know You're Pregnant When. Reflections on the Longest Nine Months of My Life by Kim Rinehart...
There is a lot of bellyaching that goes along with pregnancy. This book is no different. You Know You're Pregnant When. Reflections on the Longest Nine Months of My Life is a book written by a former pregnant woman to other pregnant women. Even though every pregnancy is different, they all do have one thing in common: They can sometimes be a pain. However, within that pain, we can sometimes find commonalities that allow us to relate to each other. We're all women about to have babies and that's a big deal in and of itself. But that doesn't mean we have to take it too seriously. Because, really, pregnancy can be kind of funny. You Know You're Pregnant When. Reflections on the Longest Nine Months of My Life is the pregnancy book to buy if you want a funny look at what really happens once you find yourself pregnant.

must have for first timer Jun 25, 2008
I laughed a ton from the very first page! It was a great book and very accurate descriptions of a womans feelings during the not so pleasant pregnancy side effects.
Like talking to a good friend about pregnancy! Feb 16, 2008
I loved, loved this book! While other pregnancy books can be a little dry--and sometimes scary!!--this one is neither and I found myself relating to almost everything in it. The author has a good, humorous tone that I really liked. It is like talking to a good friend about pregnancy, one who doesn't judge and tells it like it is! Also, she describes pretty much everything in a "normal" prgnancy and in each trimester, which makes it easy to read. I highly recommend this one to anyone who's pregnant or even thinking about getting pregnant as it really does help dispell some of the confusion. Five stars!
