Very Engaging for Toddlers Feb 15, 2007
We first got this book when for our daughter. She loved the rythamic pattern of the story and the illustrations. Pictures arefantastic, colorful and help stimulate conversation. It is fun to see how the child built the railroad all around his room using toys and furniture. A great bedtime book. A perfect gift forany kid 1-5.
Love it! Woo-WOO Feb 15, 2007

Fun! Feb 12, 2007
My one-year-old just loves to hear this story over and over again. The rolling text and repetitive "chugga chugga choo choo, whistle blowing whoo whoo" is great fun for little ones.
Just watch their eyes while reading ... Jan 26, 2007
This book has a sweet story. That is not the best part though. On every page there are many "I Spy" opportunities. It is such a fun, imaginative little world this boy lives & creates in his own room. My 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy actually agree on this book every time! It is captivating and by the time the train is done for the day, so are the kiddos. It can be a fast read if bedtime is late (5 minutes) or it can be a long engaging read for extra time cuddling (20 min +/-). I highly recommend this one to ALL parents with imaginative kids. That is all children, right? Press "Add To Cart" NOW, you won't regret it! BTW, this is my first online review, EVER. That should tell you how much we enjoy this book.
