Item description for In His Presence by E. W. Kenyon...
Overview AT LAST, A REAL SOLUTION TO THE PRAYER PROBLEM! This book is not written about what others were and did, but about what we are and can do! It is a lifting of the curtain and a revealing of the holy of holies and our ability to enter it in stand in the presence of the Father. It is the discovery of the fact that God's ability is available to every child of God. Much of it will be new and a challenge to earnest spirits to climb the heights and to sound the depths of these tremendous spiritual realities. It will remove the mist that has surrounded the prayer life, and lead us out of spiritual mysticism into the LIGHT OF LIFE! It will show us the authority of the Name of Jesus, and how to use it. This book has been a challenge and blessing to countless multitudes all over the world. This is your invitation to open the door... enter... and stand in the presence of the Father!

Reviews - What do customers think about In His Presence?
Kenyon's theology is excellent Aug 15, 2006
Other reviews have very adequately described why this is an excellent book. I am compelled to respond to Mr. P Reynolds inadequate theology. We often refer to the Bible as "the Word of God." (By the way, I see nothing wrong with this, other than the confusion I am attempting to clear up.) Notice that Jesus did not use that terminology. Rather he used the word "scripture." Bible = Scripture. The Bible says that Jesus is the Word (Logos). See John 1. Kenyon is not saying that Jesus is a book.
Also, Mr. P Reynolds seems to not understand the complexity of prayer. There are many types of prayer, not just intersession.
Dear Mr. Reynolds. I recommend reading Kenyon's entire book before writing a review. Then you will understand why it deserves five stars, not one.
Doesn't sound Biblical to me! Jul 20, 2004
I just read the first couple of pages here on this site.
The idea about the word and the Son being the same doesn't sound right - the Son is a person, whereas the word (in general rather than as a name of the Son) is God speaking, either audibly or in Scripture. Anyone can see that the Bible isn't literally Jesus!
On the second page (page 8) the idea of me sending a blessing to someone through God sounds more like magic/self-idolatry than Christianity. Christian prayer exalts God's will alone, and accepts that I may not understand God's will completely
AMAZING BOOK!!! Apr 14, 2004
I own most of kenyon's books and this blends great with all of his material and is an outstanding addition to his collection. If your looking to purchase a Kenyon book for the first time, I'd go with "New Creation Realities" However, use the "Look inside this book" to see the table of contents and see which book may fit your needs. "From The Cross To The Throne" is a great first time book as well.
Comments on this book: Like all of Kenyons material, its amazingly Holy Spirit Driven and will turbo charge you into God's word. Its well written and very detailed and he completes what he says.
Kenyon and Wigglesworth are outstanding, although there are some other great ones, I don't see anyone quite like these two. God Bless! (...)
what the world needs Aug 10, 2002
This is a must read for any one who would like to live in the secret place of the Most High God. It has opened and revealed me to truths that I had just brushed over. I have become more confident and aware of who I am in God's eyes.
My favorite of all his books. Apr 1, 2001
I have read after Kenyon for several years now, but I just now got through reading In His Presence for the first time. I cannot believe how much better this book is, compared to all his others (I've read 'em all).
