Item description for The Christian Educator's Handbook on Family Life Education: A Complete Resource on Family Life Issues in the Local Church by Kenneth O. Gangel & James C. Wilhoit...
Overview This fourth volume in The Christian Educator's Handbook series--now in paper--is not about family life directly. Rather, it shows churches and ministry organizations how they can carry out effective programs of family life education. Readers will discover that family life education is much broader than counseling and much more valuable than crisis intervention. This handbook will help Christian leaders evaluate their current programs and develop a successful family life education program.

Reviews - What do customers think about Christian Educator's Handbook on Family Life Education, The?
Excellent source book Feb 22, 2008
I found the book very helpful in developing a comprehensive educational and support system for the church. The chapters by a variety of authors brought good insights through experience, rather than theory. Very helpful.
A *MUST* for intergenerational ministries Jun 12, 1998
Gangel and Wilhoit address many important aspects of Christian Education. In the book, theology and family dynamics are freshly engaged. However, the theory is concretely displayed through relevant contemporary issues that are also discussed. Christian Education is a family-wide objective (no matter who actually receives the teaching), and this book is a helpful tool for that mission.
