Great Read May 28, 2010
If you are looking for a different perspective on the 23rd Psalms this is the book for you. I learned more about sheep/people in this book that bring the 23rd psalms written by David to life and easily attainable to memory. Good for Shephards of all ages =)
A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 May 11, 2010
W. Phillip Keller gives a delightful insight of a shepherd's care for his sheep and compares it to the most loved Psalm 23. As the Psalm progresses, Keller shows the metaphor of the Psalm in comparison to a loving shepherd and his companionship with his sheep. The book is most intriguing and delightful to both the young and old.
Eye opening and thought provoking Apr 23, 2010
Phillip Keller does a wonderful job in presenting the perspective of one who knows and cares for sheep. As an ordained clergyman, who's closest interaction with sheep is my 60% wool sweater, understands for the first time in inspiring detail, the depths of love and relationship that a shepherd has for his beloved sheep. The popular Psalm 23 now has a whole new meaning for me. My sermons about sheep and shepherds and their relationship has inspired those in my congregation to reflect on this beautiful image that the Scriptures mention so often.
Wonderful Book! Mar 21, 2010
A simple basic book at the inner knowledge of Psalm 23. I loved the book and purchase this one for a dear friend who also loved it.
Great condition! Mar 11, 2010
The book was in great condition, but I didn't know I was getting the gift edition. Perhaps I didn't read correctly. The book is a nice hardback though!
