The character traits of obedience, selflessness, dedication, devotion, courage, perseverance, and forgiveness are highlighted in the lives of Mother Teresa, Ruby Bridges, Corrie ten Boom, and others.
Paintings of young girls praying, wondering, wishing, and hoping further enrich the timeless message that little ones have been created with a special plan and purpose and, with encouragement and guidance, can accomplish amazing things.

Reviews - What do customers think about God Has a Plan for Little Girls?
Wonderful work of art and literature for young girls ages 4-teens Sep 20, 2009
Fincher's artwork is sensitive and presents a mood of confidence, strength and peace. Her words and reflections of woman who have been obedient to God and served the people around them, moving society forward towards leading a forum of what is right and good. Showing all young girls that they too, have the ability to do good works in this world.
I purchased this book as a baby gift to a special couple who have 2 sons and lost a baby son last year and gave birth to a baby girl this month. After sitting and reading the book a couple of times, I have decided that every little girl should have this book to read or be read to, time and time again, to reinforce and encourage her to stand up and with courage stick to her calling...whatever that may be. I plan to buy more for this upcoming holiday season...
Destined to become a classic.
Classic gender socialization Aug 21, 2009
I picked up these two books to show how patriarchal religions, like Islam and Christianity, try to turn males and females into "opposite" sexes. We wonder why boys turn out to be school shooters (God wants them to be "warriors") and girls end up marrying men who beat them (God wants them to be "forgiving"). This is pretty sick stuff that would be funny if it wasn't so sexist and corrosive to our society.
It's not 1950s anymore, folks. Women are now people.
