Reviews - What do customers think about What about Heaven? (Little Blessings)?
Hard to find the right message Jan 4, 2007
I do like the way this book ties the individual scriptures into the book. It is nicely illustrated and has a sweet, loving message. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a book just right for helping my four year old daughter understand the death of her twin brother. I think I am looking for something more concrete and children's books about heaven tend to be pretty nebulous.
great answers to questions little ones have about Heaven Dec 23, 2005
This is a wonderful book. It addresses many of the questions my boys have asked me about Heaven. In the back of the book it also cites Scripture to back up their answers. My boys are 3 and 5 and really enjoy this book. The illustrations are precious.
This is the best.... Sep 13, 2003
This is the best and sweetest book I have read in a LONG time. My 17 month old and 4 year old love it and I enjoy reading it to them so much. I even made my husband sit through a reading the other night. It is a precious book you won't be disappointed you purchased!
Inquisitive About Heaven? Jul 13, 2002
For little ones inquisitive about Heaven, "What About Heaven?" is a great place to begin to answer the question.
Kathleen Bostrom and Elena Kucharik team up to put Heaven in terms and pictures a child will relate to. They keep it simple, but never water it down.
Wonderful watercolors by Kucharik frame the charming outline what Heaven really is all about. It'll be more than sleepy bedtime reading as you'll hear your kids beg to hear it again, as they dream.
I fully recommend "What About Heaven?" by Kathleen Bostrom.
Well Done Jun 15, 2002
I applaude the author and her desire to keep this a faith based book. I have been disappointed in other books by well known authors who didn't teach the truth about heaven they just made up feel good scenarios. I think a child can be most comforted with the facts, they are more glorious than anything we could make up. The book is beautifully done. I try to keep an eye out for Christian grief material for children and adults because I teach grief classes. I do recommend this book and a video I... I wish the best to this author and thank her for her work. I know her book will help families and especially children who are grieving.
