Item description for Falling Into Darkness by Kat Dunkle...
THE MESSAGE of this story is that for many people it just "isn't safe to die." That we better be planning for eternity with whatever time we have on this earth. Hell is real and no matter how much we are in denial we will face that someday. That's a fact. I was flat-lined, clinically dead. Going into this surgery I had no belief in God and hadn't in over 15 years. I was bitter and angry at the thought of God because if He did exist He had taken my seven-year old son in a tragic accident. During the time in the operating room I was given the gift of knowing God, feeling His presence and peace then "all hell broke loose," as I plummeted into the horrific pit of darkness and burning pain with no hope of ever hitting the bottom. Reviews - What do customers think about Falling Into Darkness?
Compelling Narrative Of One Ladys Odyessey To Christ Jan 10, 2008
Kat Dunkle has presented an insightful and thoughtful narrative of what her "railing against God" resulted in....a journey into the Darkness of oblivion and the eternal separation from God one endures in Hell. Her personal account reveals not only her own life story but the persona of a Loving God who answers her final plea for Revelation and Salvation. Thank you Kathy for revealing your personal life in such a loving manner.

Very interesting read; couldn't put it down. That's as good of a review as there is! Some things were repeated in the beginning/middle and the ending was not as strong as it could have been, thus only 4 stars, instead of 5.
Falling into Darkness Dec 17, 2007
Kat Dunkle shows enormous courage in her willingness to lay the unvarnished truth of her life experience on the line so that others may draw insight from her journey. Above all, this is a story of redemption--and how one woman's gut-wrenching climb from darkness into the light was achieved through faith and forgiveness.
Falling Into Darkness Dec 17, 2007
We all have suffered petsonal loss and have delt with it in our own way. Kathy's journey tells of her private Hell and how she climbed out to find her God. She tells a great personal story.
Inspiring and encouraging Dec 16, 2007
I was caught up in Kat's story from the first word. For anyone who has suffered a loss, her tale is one that will help both those who have lost a loved one and those who don't know what to do or say to someone who has. Kathy lost a son in a tragic accident and her book follows her journey away from, and then to, God. Her words are real, vivid, encouraging and inspiring. Thank you for a wonderful book.
