Life - changing....This book is a miracle on pages... Feb 21, 2008
I have read lots of books...none have helped me like this one. I am newly married and this book is already saving my marriage!!!! It is an answer to prayer. I love Julies transparency and pratical advice based on her experience, victories, and scriptures. If I could only keep two books....it would be the Bible and then this one!!! All marriages can benefit from this book...whether troubled or not. Great, Godly, simple wisdom is found on these pages!!!!! Very encouraging!

Julie shared with such honesty her struggles and issues in her marriage-- it helped me to begin to look honestly, through different eyes, at my own marriage. No matter how deep the wounds from your past or what issues you struggle with in your marriage today, Julie's book brings a message of hope and how God works to heal all things broken in our lives.
Empowering Dec 6, 2007
I read this book and it empowered me to use the basics in my marriage, which I had gotten away from! The key to a functional marriage is and always will be communication. This book reiterates how we should speak to our spouses for maximum results and less drama. I have ordered books for family and friends to help them achieve a harmonious relationship with their spouses. Two thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!
In a word...awesome! Dec 6, 2007
What an important and timely book. So many women, especially women in the church, are struggling in their marriages and not telling anyone. I was one of those women. Julie's transparancy is greatly appreciated and greatly needed. I could certainly relate to her in many areas of my own marriage.
God placed this book in my hands at just the right time. Julie's insights have helped my marriage. The prayers she has written at the end of each chapter are excellent.
