Lost Sisterhood is an Awesome Must Read! Jun 29, 2008
I recommend this book to ALL of my friends, spiritual or not. Since I found out about Julia Ingram's awesome work with hypno-regression, I have been hooked on this method of discovering history with these incredible tools of healing. She is an extremely ethical and professional hypno-therapist who has been awakened to something of great importance in this day and age. I have gained more insight into the life of Jesus in a few hours than through studying scriptures for years, and it feels so much more truthful. Just like being there, this fascinating view of Jeshua's life from the perspective of his family, friends, students, and teachers (especially when he was 3 years old) of the Essene Community was spell-binding. Makes a great gift!
Historical Fiction? Feb 13, 2007
Whether or not you choose to believe the incidents in this book, if you read with a curious and open mind it will propel you into a new reality. It is the "herstory" that male authors did not allow into print for 2000 years. Considering the personal interpretation of history that we have been subjected to, this book offers a very plausable alternative and one which can change our spiritual visions for years to come. Is it history? Maybe not. Is it truth? Very likely!
Awesome read Jan 15, 2006
I loved this book! I have read The Messengers and this book is like reading the sequel. I have loaned it to friends who have since bought their own copy because it is a book you'll want to read again.
Read it in one sitting! Mar 3, 2005
Having already read The Messengers followed by In God's Truth (by Nick Bunick, who The Messengers was about), I could not wait to get my hands on this one. It was an amazing story and I was touched in so many ways...sometimes to tears.
I am reading it now for the second time and it feels as though it is the first. Going to be a very powerful book, for a very long time I am sure.
Reincarnations Find Forgiveness in the Present for the Past Feb 22, 2005
In this series of dialogues with women visionaries who see themselves as reincarnations of biblical heroines, Ms. Ingram reveals the possibility that the Divine Feminine is emerging in the 21st century through the personalities of spiritual devotees today.
Following her subjects through their hypnotic investigation of early Christianity, the author makes clear her point that there is currently a call for the Sisterhood to be found.
Written with candor and a lack of personal judgment, this work opens the door of the mind and allows the reader to walk in the shoes of those who have gone before us. Common threads of recollection seem to give credence to these stories and the collective unconscious, or Akashic Records, from which they are drawn.
