Reviews - What do customers think about To Suffer the Crown?
Simply... Amazing Jan 1, 2008
Josephine Godby writes with an intelligence and compassion that draws the reader in, and does not disappoint at any turn. A worthy read that transcends any history or culture.
Glory Bound Sep 1, 2006
Outstanding literature to read & reread to capture new, hidden meanings time and again. C. S. Lewis, just to name one outstanding author, offers many similar treasures that Jody has unlocked in her fascinating story of devotion to Him. One would be amiss not to read this compelling story of deeper truths to be unlocked through study.
Depth of Tolkein, Delight of Lewis Jul 24, 2006
"To Suffer the Crown" is captivating. It is rich in the depth of culture and "languages" within the storyline...much like Tolkien. The story itself continues to delight with unexpected anecdotes within the over-all adventure...much like both Tolkien and Lewis. I was thoroughly facinated by the wonderful mysticism underlying all elements of the story. It drew me in. Challenge, conflict, battles, sacrifice, humorous comradery, bold action, gentle awareness, love unexpected, mystical miracles, wrestlings with calling...what a story! The reader will live the epic. A must read!
