Excellent Introductory Work Jul 2, 1999
This is an excellent book for those wanting a good introduction to epigraphy and palaeography in ancient Semitic languages, especially Northwest Semitic languages (eg, Aramaic, Phoenician, Hebrew). It contains a wealth of information gleaned from a vast array of inscriptions and ancient texts, all compiled into a simple format. A most enjoyable and informative book!
