Item description for Living Loud: Defending Your Faith (Truthquest) by Norman L. Geisler & Prof Joseph Holden...

Overview
American high school students are truly on the "frontlines" of our nation's culture wars. Every day they're bombarded with lies and humanistic propaganda through movies, music, television---even in the classroom. Give them this teen-friendly introduction to apologetics to help them stand strong, defend their Judeo-Christian worldview, and witness to skeptical friends!

Publishers Description
Why a Christian apologetics book for high school students? Norman Geisler and Joseph Holden contend it is "because American high school students are on the front line of the spiritual war between persons who worship God and those who seek to cultivate a world apart from God." Students are being attacked on every flank--through movies, music, television, friends, and, yes, even in the classroom where a Judeo-Christian worldview is presented as antiquated, if presented at all. Now, more than ever, young Christians need to be prepared to defend their faith against the onslaught of lies and humanistic propaganda that so saturates our culture today. Authors Geisler and Holden lay a firm foundation so every student can feel bold and confident in defending their faith.

Reviews - What do customers think about Living Loud: Defending Your Faith (Truthquest)?

Very clear and accurate  Nov 9, 2006
This is a great book. It seems to be a smaller version of "I don't have enough faith to be an Atheist" also by Norman Geisler. We homeschool our kids and I use this book for my two high-schoolers for their Apologetics class. It's very understandable and has questions at the end of each chapter that I use as their quizzes. The subject matter is well reasoned and seems impossible to refute. It just goes to show that some people are willingly ignorant and simply refuse to accept the truth of the Bible even when no other explanation is possible. What a shame. Well done, Norm. Bob Grove

Christian Apologetics for your Teen  May 23, 2006
In an age of pluralism and inclusivism, this book is a strong refresher for the teens to understand why Christianity is different then the rest of the religions. Certainly our children today NEED to be well informed and well grounded in Christianity to withstand the ideas in High School and college. This book gives teens a great foundation for the Christian worldview.
