Reviews - What do customers think about Mexico lo que todo ciudadano quisiera (no) saber de su patria?

Disappointing  Jan 1, 2008
As someone who hasn't lived in Mexico for 10 years, I purchased this book hoping to brush up on my Mexican history and also to catch up on current events.
I knew this book would not take itself too seriously. And I didn't want to buy a "boring history book". But I didn't realize I would be purchasing an oversized, 300 page comic book - RIUS style, only in color-. Filled with lists, time lines, charts and "ejercicios para el estudiante" that are meant to be funny and entertaining . But are often times tedious and unamusing.
Found the book to be as unhumorous and incoherent as RIUS is.

I guess I wasn't enough of a "ciudadano" to get it.
