Great Family Time Book Apr 21, 2009
Church alone will not prepare your children to live for God. They need to see you doing something for God too and this is a perfect and fun way to do it. I've done three of the lessons with my family already and even my wife enjoys them. Keep them lighthearted and fun and God can use it to help your children see that God is important to you and them. I highly reccomend this book for any Christian family that wants their kids to live for God.
Useful Tool Feb 3, 2009
FaithLaunch shows you how to prepare your child to make an informed decision to follow Jesus, or confirm a decision he or she has already made every step of the way! My kids are grown now, but I decided I'd take a look at this anyway. After examining it, I found myself wishing that I'd had this tool when my children were young. It was well written and the activities and object lessons were terrific. I like that it included options for kids ages 4-7 and 8-12, so you could use it for all your kids, even if they were at different ages. The icing on the cake was the use of Adventures in Odyssey, making it a sweet deal indeed.
I gave my copy to my friend who has a granddaughter turning 5 so she could take advantage of the material and will recommend it to others.
