Reviews - What do customers think about The Gospel of Matthew: Question by Question?
An excellent guide for adult bible-study groups Jun 9, 2007
Written by Albany, NY Diocese priest and retired biblical theology professor John F. O'Grady, The Gospel of Matthew: Question by Question is a bible study guide and second in the Question by Question series. Presented in a unique question-and-answer format, The Gospel of Matthew: Question by Question draws the reader into the text with material found in no other traditional commentary. Each chapter also includes introductions and conclusions to assist the reader's understanding. "Both John and Jesus point out the presence and absence of God in their society and in their religion and culture. They both speak for God. People like it when a prophet points out the presence of God but rebel when the prophet highlights the absence of God, especially in religion and among religious leaders." An excellent guide for adult bible-study groups, introductory scripture courses, and individual study.
