More About John E. Maybury

He has been married to Thelma Cody Maybury for 60 years and they have four children and twelve grandchildren. He has served as a pastor in Churches of the Nazarene across the United States, a chaplain in hospitals and in the Civil Air Patrol, and Director of International Institute of Orange County, California where he helped thousands of refugees from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laotian Mhoung resettle in the United States. He taught psychology at California Christian Institute and provided counseling services in private practice. Dr. Maybury has written several magazine articles and the booklets Burnout and the Bible and Knowing and Living the Fruit of the Spirit.

John E. Maybury currently resides in Bend, in the state of Oregon.
