A suitable text for an undergraduate course Apr 4, 2002
This book seems to be one of the best choices of the text for an undergraduate course. It covers all topics that can be included in such course. It contains many exercises. Some of the exercises are routine, some others are more challenging. Also the price of the paperback edition is quite reasonable for a text for a semester course. I should mention that there are some misprints in this text. Also, there are some gaps in the proof of the Brooks' theorem (pp. 194-196). So a new corrected printing is desirable.
