Reviews - What do customers think about Challenging Ms. Eva Lution?
Fun and educational! Highly Recommended! Nov 16, 2008
There is always plenty of action in this book--from being chased by a bear to exploring the Grand Canyon! But it's not only entertaining. The hero, David, is on a quest to look deeper into the creation/evolution debate. As he searches, we are also able to learn along with him about the issues that make this such a hot debate in our culture. I love that the Bible is supported as truth with no apologies, but not in a preachy way.
The authors have woven information about autism into this book in a way that will help children to understand this unique spectrum of disorders (and I use that word loosely) that is so prevalent right now.
Action-packed, funny, creative, informative, entertaining are all words to describe this great book! Our whole family loved it!
Challenging Ms. Eva Lution Oct 9, 2008
This book was fun, adventurous, and educational (those don't usually go so well together). I thoroughly enjoyed it, and more importantly, my kids read through it non-stop.
The main character of this book is having a hard time putting his faith in the Bible and science together. Then, he meets the Creation Science Club, who takes him all over the world to prove that the Bible's explanations of creation are more scientific than the theory of evolution.
Since autism affects some of my family members, I was impressed with the clear, but gentle introduction to autism and Asperger's Syndrome.
This is a fun, solidly Christian book that I think even non-Christian's could enjoy and learn from.
