Item description for Restoring The Gates That Prevail by Joaquin G. Molina & R. T. Kendall...
Overview By studying the ancient gates of Jerusalem, as described in the Book of Nehemiah, pastors and church leaders will discover the system God designed for leading a church.
Publishers Description Due to the absence of truly anointed ministries in our churches, the body of Christ has become a city with fallen walls and burned gates producing little more than broken people who reflect the world they live in more than the God they serve. Dr. Joaquin Molina offers a fresh approach to restoring the church by looking at the ancient gates of the city of Jerusalem, as presented in the Book of Nehemiah. From the Sheep Gate to the Inspection Gate, God has laid before us a system for measuring the effectiveness of our ministries. In doing so, Molina compares the ancient city to the church and claims that the same method of restoration can be used today. With personal experience to testify to the success of this method, Molina offers useful insight to inspire ministers to renovate their ministry. About the Author

THIS BOOK PUT TO PRACTICE WILL CHANGE THE WORLD Mar 7, 2008
Reading this book was like getting all my questions answered with out asking them. It answers questions that churches for what ever reason dont talk about. It talks about essential things that the church (body of Christ) needs to put in action. We hear so much how the "church" has become a place of going and warming up the pews, thats because the Church has stop doing its job. This book teaches how church leaders and members can revive the Church again; Cause some stir up, a change! The Church has dies down because we stop practacing fundamental truths like going out and preaching THE GOOD NEWS, protecting the sheep in the Church from "wolves", praising God in the valleys (where by the way is where he reveals His glory the most), listening to the elders of the church who's wisdom is like jewels, and throw out the garabage that is stinking up the Church. Jesus was able to change the world because His follwers were doing there part also. If we do ours we too can change the world. This book should be a book everyone reads if they want to restore the Church with integrity, joy and influence. Its a guide on How to restore the Church to the way God intendid it to be.
