Very uplifting! Jan 15, 2007
Beautifully written. This book is one I'll give as a gift and know they'll love it! Congressman Ryun truly has a way with words that is passionate, but never stoops to being "sappy."
Kind of a let down Jan 5, 2007
I got the book on a recommendation from a radio personality working on the local sports station KFAN. Anyway, he had dropped some weight when he started running and credited the book indicating it would "change your life". I bought it and did not finish it. Jim Ryan is an awesome person - his story is quite amazing and I can appreciate the value people find in their Bible, religion, tithing, etc. If you find strength in the Bible or like biographys and can relate to Jesus this would be a great book for you.
