More About Jim Jenkins

Register your artisan biography and upload your photo! Jim Jenkins (DMin, Fuller Theological Seminary; MDiv, Melodyland School of Theology; BA, Youngstown State University) has enjoyed a life he could never have imagined-from a steel town in Ohio, to the Great White North, to the outskirts of Portlandia. Dr. Jenkins served in pastoral ministry for over thirty years, as a Navy Reserve Chaplain for twenty-one years, and as a Bible college/seminary professor for over a decade. He received the Distinguished Service Award as part of the Chaplain's Emergency Response Team, which responded to the 9/11 crisis at the World Trade Center. As he travels from west to east, he is addressed as Dr. Jenkins, Pastor Jim, LCDR Jenkins (Ret.), and Uncle Jimmy. But his favorite title is Papa. He and his wife, Judy, currently reside in Oregon. They have two grown children and two grandchildren.

Jim Jenkins was born in 1955.
