As an attorney practicing in the area of workers' compensation and personal injury law, I have found Dr. Wishik's book to be an excellent legal-medical resource to help simplify and explain complex medical conditions and diagnoses. I have found Chapter 3 "Diagnostic Testing", as well as Chapter 7 "Chronic Pain"; Chapter 8 "Traumatic Brain Injury" and Chapter 9 "Spine and Nerve Root Disorders" to be extremely helpful to me in my day to day practice as an attorney. I would highly recommend this book to all attorneys practicing in the area of personal injury law.
Excellent and Concise Review of Medical and Legal Aspects Dec 6, 2005
Dr. Wishik has written an excellent text that will be most useful to both Neurologists and Lawyers as well as other health care practioners. The book is concise and extremely complete. It has a style that makes it easily readable and is presented in a contents format that is easy to follow.
I would highly recommend this textbook as a great concise refernece guide.
