Item description for Gutsy Faith: Hard Conversations with God by Jeff Edmondson...
Overview Have you ever been disappointed because God didn't answer a prayer the way you expected? Have you ever felt led to do something for God that others wouldn't consider the "safe" choice? Let's face it. Living a life of obedience to God can often seem a little scary. Sometimes you have to make a decision that requires more than just average faith - it takes guts. In 'Gutsy Faith,' Jeff Edmondson challenges you to learn to ask God the right questions for the direction of your life and then have the guts to obey when His answers come. Edmondson takes you on a contemplative journey of self-discovery that begins with developing an authentic, intimate relationship with God. He shows you how to really hear God's voice in your life and then challenges you to obey God's calling, no matter how impossible - or gutsy - it might seem.

Practical resource for youth and youth leaders Jan 7, 2010
I've used this book both for personal reading and resource as well as have recommended it to young leaders in our church who are looking for tools in discipleship.
This isn't a book full of cookie-cutter answers to easy questions. Rather it addresses the questions of our lives that often hold the key to obedience in our God-ward journey.
This book is a terrific tool for young leaders engaged in spiritual growth.
great book... truths for today Dec 7, 2009
We are using this book in our small (grandparenting) group at church. It is easy to read and has good insite for the hard decisions we have to make in todays more secular world. Good for anyone wanting to grow in their faith. gmafitz
