Item description for Thy Will Done by Janet M. Boor...
The story takes place in our neat little kitchen in Oil City, Pennsylvania. It was a very cold winter day and my husband and young son were about to return home from church. My daughter and I had not gone to church that day due to her just being released from the hospital. Upon my husbandas return, he informed me of his entering the ministry. Needless to say that was quite a surprise for me to hear, and it took us some time to work out this way of life between us. In doing so, I started on our new adventure in lifeathat of being a ministeras wife. We were given three churches in the Shippenville charge. The years went by quickly, and after finishing college at Clarion University, we were transferred to a church on the Pittsburgh charge. While here, I came down with a mysterious cough. The cough continued on, and after six years in the Pittsburgh area, my husband decided to go to Seminary in Washington, D.C. This took another three years, and all the time my cough continued. Upon completion of Seminary, we were transferred to Dayton, Pennsylvania. By now one could no longer continue overlooking the attacks brought on by the excess amount of coughing. The trips to the doctorsathe hospital tripsawere becoming all too frequent. Six years of this took place before we finally knew the outcome

Reviews - What do customers think about Thy Will Done?
What an eye opening experience. A must read for anyone searching for the truth. Jan 9, 2009
Although I have never heard of this author before, I was intrigued with the cover and title. The book sat on the bookstore shelf seeming to speak to me and speak it did. Mrs. Boor has certainly lived an interesting life. This book gives you a small feeling on what it must be like to be a minister's wife. I hope she writes more about her mysterious life with the walls of the church. Hard to put down.
Great Story and Quick Read Dec 12, 2008
I picked up this book wanting to read a little each day but ended up reading the whole thing in one day! What a wonderful story of a truly horrifying experience. Janet absolutely lived by faith and it brought her through. This book definitely makes you thankful for all that you have and envious of how selfless Janet truly is.
