I was a little disappointed in this book, and to be honest, I didnt completely finish it. The book is broken into 3 sections, each a different story, but all tying together as they are all members of this same family. I was excited to see the author to a great deal of time describing her characters, their feelings and their settings. You feel like you are a part of the book. The first section was great, the plot was very very believable and I was intrigued the whole time, but the way it ended, just seemed a little unrealistic. Who spends almost the entire book avoiding each other and then the next chapter they are engaged? Does that really happen. I thought well, benifit of the doubt, these characters were previously in love prior to their current situation, so OK?! Then you move to the next section...yep, you guessed it, vitually the same ending. By then you are 3/4 of the way through the book, so you gotta keep going. By the 3rd section, you see it all happening all over again. I couldn't do it anymore. Who is this world, avoids each other, and then are married/engaged the next chapter? Maybe I am from some place weird, but I other than relating personally to the first section, I don't know if I would of made it past there. She has a great knack for writing, she just maybe needs to focus a little more on her story lines for believability sake.
