Natural phenomena as expressed through myth, legend, and the customs and beliefs of many cultures come together in this mix of ideas, images, and information. A wonderful celebration of earth, fire, water, and air, this book examines how these primary elements are treated cross-culturally and creates a sense of wonder at the magic they hold.
