Reviews - What do customers think about A Month of Sundays: Christmas (Alfred's Sacred Performer Collections)?
Must have for the Professional Sep 11, 2009
This book is full of absolutely wonderful, creative arrangements of some of your all time favorite sacred Christmas songs. Quite tangible for the professional player with an impressive sound for your audience. A must have for professional or advanced pianists.
I would warn the amateur or hobbiest, these might be a bit of a stretch for you. They do require practice, this would not be a sit down and read it book. True, some are easier than others but it might be more than a hobbiest or amateur would be looking for.
I also recommend Christmas: The Best Christmas Hits from the Holiday Season, also by Jan Sansborn in the Popular Performer series- these are non-sacred Christmas hits. Also, amazing and well written.
