Reviews - What do customers think about The Old Testament Writings: History, Literature, and Interpretation?

Excellent Resource  Dec 28, 2007
This, along with James ("Mickey") Efird's companion book "The New Testament Writings", provide a scholarly--yet highly readable--examination of the Bible for the serious lay student (at a time when so many works seem so superficial). They both significantly advanced my understanding of the Bible.
