Item description for Ascend: Releasing the Power of the Human Spirit by James L. Catanzaro & James Cantanzaro...
Overview This manual on "spiritual surfing" taps the undiscovered power within all of us to help launch us over life's everyday struggles as we rise to spiritual well-being and fulfillment.
Publishers Description Ascend: Releasing the Power of the Human Spirit brings us to the foundations of the Judaeo-Christian tradition -- life-transforming relationships with the God who speaks to us in and through our hearts and inspires us to live above destructive struggle through compassion, love, and peace. It helps us to build transforming relationships with ourselves and significant others through trust and empathy, and with God by making and sustaining a vital connection from within. When we are hard-wired to the God within, we break the hold of insecurity, overcome life's injustices, act from our deeply embedded values, live redemptively, and exult in our transformation. Ultimately, we ascend to spiritual well-being by releasing the power within -- the power of the human spirit, God's Spirit, expressed in our everyday lives as a surge of positivity . . . like a mighty wave.

Reviews - What do customers think about Ascend: Releasing the Power of the Human Spirit?
Launching to New Energy Apr 18, 2004
Having a deep interest in the development of community and how the individual can grow in community, I was caught by the title of the book as engaging the individual in our perennial pursuit.
James Catanzaro talks to me. The test of this book is in its linking of the ultiimately transcendent with the palpable and daily trials in which we all engage. He delivers on the need for us to see opportunity to tap into the rich reserve of the human spirit in our daiily trials - "struggles" - as he calls them.
Teilhard de Chardin in the Phenomenon of Man and Emmet Fox in Find and Use Your Inner Power both suggest inner powers tied to our spiritual development and linked to the broader community. Catanzaro ties the journey for development to some daily issues which speak to me the reader. This book works. It is more than worth the read.

Two weeks ago, the reviews of this book were very mixed. Now, all negative reviews have been purged, while the positive ones remain. Why is this site.com apparently giving this power to the author or publisher?
