Book review for Uncommon Denominator By Jackson Klaiber
Uncommon Denominator is a great read that I never would have known about if it had not been for a good friend of mine lending it to me. The author is the attorney of this friend, so I figured it would be another so-so story. Not so!
Jack Quinn is an attorney who likes taking on difficult cases and then run with them. And run he does from Florida to The Bahamas and to Pennsylvania and points in between. A client supposedly drowned under mysterious circumstances when the boat he owned sank with him missing. Jack Quinn continually travels to the various locations above trying to track down the mysterious pieces of the puzzle. He spares no ones feelings, male or female, but rather does anything the law will or won't allow him to do to find the answers to the mysterious questions this book presents. He loves his women but is careful not to share his knowledge with them, not knowing how far to trust them.
You will love this book. I did not want to put it down once I got past the first few pages. Mr. Klaiber writes in an interesting and certainly not boring style.

A Great Mystery Jun 28, 2005
If you like Elmore Leonard, you will like this book. The author has you identify with a true hero (an attorney seeking truth and justice0 rather than an anti-hero as many authors do today. The author crafted exciting twits and turns that left me wanting to read more. You will not want to put the book down until you are done!
I look forward to the next book by Jackson Klaiber.
Jake Quinn resurects Travis McGee Mar 8, 2005
If your like me and have been sorely missing John MacDonald's Travis McGee, buy this book. It is fast paced, witty, with that Travis style we all grew to love and have missed for so long.
