Item description for One Hundred and One Devotions for Homeschool Moms by Jackie Wellwood...
Overview Being a homeschool mom is a unique challenge, best understood by another homeschool mom. Here's personal encouragement, just for you, from a mother of seven. Practical, to-the-point devotions cover everything from "Too Many Hats" to "Raging Hormones" to "I'm Happy." Special prayers and food-for-thought questions help fill your daily needs for God.
We all need encouragement. Whether it's a hug when we're scared, an ear that will listen to our frustrations, hands to help with a heavy load, or words of support when we are unsure. And the words that best minister to our hearts are those from someone who knows exactly what we are going through.
As a homeschool teacher you encounter challenges above and beyond the variety of tasks all moms face. Challenges that only another homeschool mom would understand. Jackie Wellwood, a mother of seven, committed to homeschooling her children over ten years ago. Here she candidly shares her personal experiences and how they drew her closer to the Lord. She also blends those challenges with encouraging scriptural insights and closes each devotional with a prayer and questions that can help you apply God's truths to your specific situation.
It is Jackie's hope that these words of reassurance, together with the understanding and compassion you'll find in these pages, will strengthen your spirit as you walk with the Savior.

Reviews - What do customers think about One Hundred and One Devotions for Homeschool Moms?
Has blessed me Nov 15, 2008
As a new Christian Homeschooler, this book has been a tremendous blessing for me. The devotions are short but have so much good advise and thoughts to chew on later on during your day or during quiet time. This book has encouraged me through out this year of homeschooling and has been a wonderful investment for me and my family.
Must read for homeschool moms... Jan 17, 2008
What a blessing this little book is! It inspires with little pick-me-ups on almost every topic. Timeless wisdom.
Outstanding Devotional May 18, 2007
This devotional really speaks to the heart of a homeschool Mom. I enjoyed each day of the devotional, and reread many days multiple times. I highly recommend it.
I'm blessed Mar 8, 2007
It was a blessing to find someone who understands the special trials and joys of being a homeschool mom. The short devotionals include some questions for thought. Just the right bite sized pieces to help keep me on track.
Waste of Time and Money Feb 24, 2007
This devotional is shallow and uninspiring. The only thing I learned from it is this woman should stop writing books and spend more time focusing on her home life.
