Item description for A Cowboy's Faith: Stories of Our Common Ground by Jack Terry...
Overview Jack Terry's rich, detailed oil paintings of the churches, missions, and courtyards of the American West invite readers to discover a place where they can gather together in peace, love, and hope. Sharing his heart for the togetherness of the body of Christ, award-winning artist Jack Terry uses stories from his own family heritage to illustrate the power of God's love at work in our lives--both individually and corporately. Terry looks at God's wisdom at work in the Thessalonian church and illustrates how God is still at work in our lives today, much as He was in the early church. This book inspires Christians to cherish the bond that can never be broken--the simple yet strong bond of unity in Jesus Christ.

A Cowboy's Faith: Stories of the Common Ground Sep 6, 2008
Jack Terry is an EXCELLENT painter of cowboy life and horses. His narrative is earthy, practical, and spiritual. I just love his books and have several in my library and will not part with any of them. He is a good artist and a good writer, and the stories are short and can be read in a few minutes. I like that. I can get the message and the idea before I go to bed and wake up thinking about it. However, I need to reread to keep remembering.
