Reviews - What do customers think about The Toymaker?

Henrytonhill Reader  Mar 28, 2008
The Toymaker is a beautifully written story that I highly recommend. It is the story of a young mans' search for answers that could only be resolved by returning to the roots of his childhood. As Matteo steps more and more deeply into his past,I became totally caught up in his journey. The vivid descriptions of the mountains, the extraordinary attention to detail, the powerful voices of its' people brought the story to life. As Matteo struggles to understand the untimely death of his father, his gradual unwinding and its' surprising conclusion feels both shocking and real. This book is an excellent read - Once I started turning the pages,it was impossible to put down.
