Reviews - What do customers think about NASB Thinline Bible-Black/Tan DuoTone?
Good ... but BEWARE Jan 27, 2007
I just got this Bible in the mail. It is a great size and the print is fantastic. However, after opening it, I thought, "This doesn't feel like genuine leather." I went back to the this site website, and it says "leather edition" (and this is on the Duo-Tone edition). I went to the Zondervan website to find out just what Duo-Tone is. Well, according to Zondervan, Duo-Tone contains absolutely NO LEATHER! If that doesn't bother you, it is a great purchase. Let the buyer beware.
Great fit for a traveler Jan 11, 2007
This is a slim, lightweight copy of the Bible that's great to take anywhere. It fits well into my computer bag for when I'm on the road. It's only as big as a standard journal-great size. The print is small which isn't a downer for me just something to note. I love this version, too. It's a great translation for those who want to see a more literal translation of original manuscripts. It's pretty and handsome all at the same time (both my husband and I have the same color).
good choice... Jan 3, 2007
I was looking for a small bible to carry around and this was a great choice. I probably wouldn't use it exclusively to study out of, but the print is big enough so that I could if I wanted to. I'm happy with it so far.
Great Bible Aug 15, 2006
This is a very, very cool Bible. The two tone leather (or Italian duo-tone as it's called) looks and feels great, the print is not too small; it is light and just forms to your hands. My last Bible was a black, generic Bible that on several different occasions at church I either accidentally picked up one like it or someone picked up mine. This black/brown stitched leather is very unique so this never happens any more. The version is NASB, the best if you're trying to hang close to the original- although not as readable to me as NIV or New English. But that's just my opinion. The price is good- I really, really like this Bible, or did I say that already?
