Memories & Milestones by Dr. Irwin Thompson Jul 9, 2007
Memories and Milestones is filled with beautiful and thought-provoking paintings whose complementary poems give unique insight into the inspiration for them. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading through it and sharing it with family and friends.

This book is a joy to have. Jun 14, 2007
I bought this book after hearing Dr. Thompson give a reading at the Silver Lake Gallery where some of his paintings were also on display. I think just about everybody else in the crowd did as well. The twenty seven poems and paintings are paired in such a way that each reflects back and forth on the other like two facing mirrors. The images, both in the poetry and the paintings, are at times unsettling but they are always deeply moving and beautiful. The book itself is well produced with a simple and clear font for the poetry and excellent reproductions of the paintings. This book is a joy to have.
