This book contains diode lasers, Quantum cascaded lasers, OPO, ultrafast and fiber lasers and even some contents on THz .In addition to brief recap of theoretical knowledge to understand the nonlinear process it is primarily good for editorized summary of mid -IR lasers experiments done around the world. For anyone interested into detail, there are lots of references at the back of every chapter. If you are looking for theoretical understanding of those various processes mentioned above it is not what you want. However as an Electro-optics engineer working in the field of nonlinear optics, the contents are quite useful for me personally.
