Item description for Juba Arabic English Dictionary/Kamuus ta Arabi Juba wa Ingliizi by Ian Smith...
The Juba Arabic-English Dictionary was first developed in the early 1980s to assist learners of Juba Arabic and speakers of the language who wished to improve their English. that objective remains valid today. In this new edition, more words have been included, while design and presentation of the dictionary have been improved. In trying to cater for the variations in the vocabulary of the different speakers of the language, the number of words included in this dictionary now exceeds the vocabulary of the average speaker of Juba Arabic. That way, users from all backgrounds will find it useful. The user is encouraged to read and study the phonetic system in the first pages before embarking on the use of the dictionary.

Reviews - What do customers think about Juba Arabic English Dictionary/Kamuus ta Arabi Juba wa Ingliizi?

If you want to learn Juba Arabic this is your only option. It was written a long time ago and language is dynamic so it could use an update but I found the grammar section crucial. It has some formatting problems and leaves out the word for one hundred but otherwise it's an impressively compact language learning tool.
