Reviews - What do customers think about Note (Repack)?
This was okay Sep 2, 2008
What I liked about this book: * The idea of trying to find the intended recipient for a note drew me in * I liked the conflict the author created between the main character and a competitor * I liked that even though this is Christian fiction, the author didn't drop references to Jesus and God all over the place
What I didn't like about this book: * The pace of the story was kind of dull; I found myself skipping dialogue to get to the next part * I really didn't like the main character and it's not because she's kind of a hard person with walls up due to life; I've read many other books where a main character was like this and yet I still felt sympathy or compassion for them. I just could not like this character. She wasn't very interesting or compelling.
Despite my dislikes, I think it's worth reading it. I loved the note itself and what it came to mean to me at the end of the book. That alone was worth the reading.

The Note by Angela Hunt Sep 19, 2007
The Note (Women of Faith Fiction #2)Angela Hunt has written an excellent book. It will make you really think about what you are reading. To see how Peyton MacGruder grows in her writing, her outlook on life and her relationships with other people is remarkable and very emotional. If this book doesn't draw you closer to Jesus, there isn't much that will. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would recommend it to other people.
Loved it! Jun 3, 2007
I loved this book! I'm usually able to guess the ending of books. This book kept my interest throughout and I was completely taken by surprise by the ending. I will read more of Angela Hunt's books.

This is the first book I have read by Angela Hunt. I will read more! I truely enjoyed this book. What I enjoyed even more were the discussion questions at the end of the book - They made me stop, think and reevaluate.
