More About Howard Zinn
The visionary historical work of professor and activist HOWARD ZINN (1922-2010) is widely considered one of the most important and influential of our era. After his experience as a bombardier in World War II, Zinn became convinced that there could no longer be such a thing as a "just war," because the vast majority of victims in modern warfare are, increasingly, innocent civilians. In his books, including A People's History of the United States, its companion volumeVoices of a People's History of the United States, and countless other titles, Zinn affirms the power of the people to influence the course of events. REBECCA STEFOFF is the author of more than 100 nonfiction books for children and young adults, and she has adapted several best-selling history books for younger readers.
Howard Zinn lived in Auburndale, in the state of Massachusetts. Howard Zinn was born in 1922 and died in 2010.

Great book, I'm in it, you should buy it. If you're interested in finding out the real reasons why we went to war, this book provides several artists' visual interpretations as to why.
Great Tool for a Protest this Season!!! Jul 30, 2004
This book was passed down to me the night before I ws going to protest Bush in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It has many Posters that relate to any war or Bush protest. The best part is, you can reproduce these images for your own personal use. The posters keep their quallity when enlarging, and the binding is perfect for photocopying. Need a protest Poster? GET THIS BOOK!

I ordered this as a gift and returned it due to some of the crude messages, foul language and pictures. It's an interesting book to look through but not what I had in mind for a book supporting peace.
