A Spirituality of Waiting: Being Alert to God's Presence in Our Lives
I have read pretty much all Henri Nouwen's works. In this CD set he makes the words come alive through speech. I listen to it when it is s stessful day at work. I close me door and allow the Holy Spirit to refresh me with wave after wave of this refreshing presence.
Sometimes I will stop and just listen over and over to the same passage, as God uses the words of this wonderful servent.
If you are new to Nouwen, you must give time to meditate on the words. Not a book that you can just read and walk away from.
