Publishers Description In this physical domain, we have trials and limitations that keep us from our highest selves and from living in harmony with God and eternal truth. Fortunately, these barriers can actually be for our benefit. Author Heather Madder believes that freedom can be found in the spiritual truths discussed in Walking on the Ceiling When we meet a limitation and expand beyond it, the boundary is absolved but we remain enlarged. Therefore, the same ceiling that holds us captive also has the power to exalt us. Madder wants readers to feel that they not only have permission to tell the whole truth about themselves, but that they must be fully honest about their weaknesses and then seek the spiritual path that leads to liberation, so they, too, can begin Walking on the Ceiling.

Reviews - What do customers think about Walking on the Ceiling: The Practice of Overcoming Barriers and Creating a Life of Freedom?
Empowering! Sep 17, 2007
We are constantly faced with limitations in life that threaten to keep us from achieving life's best. But as Heather Madder so powerfully illustrates, we can use those barriers, as footstools, for complete inner fulfillment. This book illustrates very clearly how life, can be transformed, when we change our perspective and make the decision to see past the perceived limitations that holds us back from complete fulfillment. You will come to understand that it is God, whom we must turn to in order to understand our purpose. The author points out that the pains, sorrows, fears, and weaknesses you carry, can be lifted from you; and you are set free from inner bondage, when you allow God to transform your life through seeing HIS truths. You will feel liberated through reading this book, as well as walk away with questions for your own life. Those questions, will prompt you to seek Your Creator for answers, and step forward in faith, to begin Walking on the Ceiling.
Gotta love this book! Feb 9, 2006
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Heather has an innate ability to make a person comfortable with their weaknesses and failings and hopeful at the same time. Her sense of humor coupled with down-to-earth, do-able wisdom makes this book totally readable and extremely beneficial to one seeking guidance on the path to healing and higher living. I appreciate her candid looks into her own life and the insight she shares so freely--truly I came away from the book feeling empowered and very positive about issues that formerly discouraged me. Highly recommended!
