Reviews - What do customers think about The Holy Land: The Land of Jesus?
EXCELLENT Aug 11, 2009
I've been to the Holy Land twice, and I highly recommend this book for anyone visiting the Holy Land or just want to read and learn about it. My first copy of this book was purchased ON the bus in Israel as a resource while touring.
I've done several church and community presentations on the Holy Land, and I love to use this book and keep a supply of them to use. Prior to using this book for presentations, I had to constantly refer to wall maps and do overheads.
It has great pictures, accurate and condensed information, and scriptural references about each site. A great feature, for me, is that it has a small map inserted in the text with a red dot indicating the location of that particular city/site. The info is beautifully presented, and the information is very easy to follow. This is an awesome book -- whether you're using it for a trip or just studying about the Holy Land.

If you are going to take a trip to Israel, this is the book to get. It is an accurate picture and narrative of what you can have the opportunity to see. You won't even need to take pictures of some of the sites because the book has the best of them. However, we did take over 300 pictures and this book helped us remember what it was about the site that was important. I recommend it highly.
