Item description for Grief: Comfort For Those Who Grieve And Those Who Want To Help by Haddon W. Robinson...

Overview
This little book of comfort has been a popular seller since it was first published in 1996. Now this new gift edition with full color photographs makes it additionally attractive for giving, with the same convenient size for mailing. Grief is painful, and no one escapes it. But grief isn't limited to death. Grief is what we experience whenever we lose anyone or anything we care about deeply. How, then, do we cope with our own sorrow? How do we comfort others who mourn? And what is the difference between good grief and bad grief? Haddon Robinson takes a clear look at this difficult and universal subject and offers the ministry of consolation to lighten the burden of those who grieve.

Reviews - What do customers think about Grief: Comfort For Those Who Grieve And Those Who Want To Help?

Grief  Apr 24, 2009
This book is brief and easy to comprehend. It was very helpful for those assisting others going through the grief process.

this is an excellent booklet; it is concise and accurate  Aug 2, 1999
This is the book to keep for yourself and give to your friends, coworkers, and family who have experienced the death of a loved one. It cuts through to the core feeling of grief. No cliches accepted or offered here; just good, straightforward, and accurate material presented in a Christian loving way. I have personally ordered 25 copies to give to friends and especially to my male Christian friends who have difficulty understanding what grief is about. (My wife of four years died of cancer at the age of 45.)
