More About Group Publishing
Group is much more than a publisher of ministry resources for Christian churches. Sure, we make an abundance of products for Sunday school, VBS, children's ministry, youth ministry, and more.
But what we really offer are experiences that grow your relationship with Jesus. Whether it's a Bible lesson, kids' craft, or teen mission trip, everything Group does revolves around getting closer to God.
If there's one thing you need to know about us, it's that we're enthusiastic about church ministry. Our team is made up of world-renowned ministry experts who spend their everyday lives in the trenches of real church ministry. We love this stuff, and we want nothing more than to help you be successful in your ministry.
What We Do
Being based at the foot of the Colorado Rocky Mountains gives us a constant, majestic reminder of God's love and power in our lives. We use that inspiration to create resources for ministry to women, men, families, small groups, pastors, worship leaders, and even administrators.
We also have a wealth of resources for those who lead ministry volunteers (which is just about everybody). You'll find books, curriculum, magazines, websites, DVDs, CDs, kits, events, online training, and so much more here at Group. If your church does it, Group can probably help. (A lot.)

Kid's travel guide for the Armor of God Apr 14, 2009
this is exceptional material. The subjects used were excellent. There is a lot of information to use and it is already set up in a scheduled format! Very pleased and excited to use. Linda Nauman

I used alot of things out of this book for Sabbath School for the kindergarten. It is more primary age but it was okay.
Great material Mar 11, 2009
Love this material! It is very user friendly and easy to adapt to the various age groups. We are using it for our Wednesday night program and the kiddo's love it. We switched it up a bit and have the children move into large groups for the games and crafts and added snacks and music to our program. The children love moving around and seems to prevent boredom or loss of interest in them.
My personal favorite in the Travel Guide series Jan 22, 2008
This book has 13 lessons on the armor of God (Ephesians 6). The activities are designed for multi-age groups of children so it is easy to use with a few or many children. Supplies needed are clearly noted in the margins. Each lesson has almost 2 hours of activits. You can use them all or choose the ones that fit you best. All the activities are hands-on and very applicable. Throughout the 13 week course each child will complete a Travel Journal. This is a keepsake to help the children remember the lessons and apply them in their everyday lives. (A great tool for parents to gain insight into their children's spiritual lives and understanding as well!) Each chapter also includes a Pathway Point (central concept of the lesson)and an In-Focus verse (summary verse). The lessons begin with a Departure Prayer followed by First Stop Discoveries to futher introduce the children to the lesson's topic. Story Excursions help the children not just hear but experience the Bible Story. Children collect reprodicible activities or 'souvenirs' along the way and finally close with a "Home Again Prayer". Easy to use, hands on resource for K-5th grade children.
Great Christian Kids Resource Aug 17, 2007
This book is just full of ideas of how to make the Bible interesting to children ages 5-10. I used it at a Christian summer camp we ran and the kids really enjoyed the activities. The authors break down the text of the armor of God into different types of armor and have a Bible story that goes with each. Then they have about 4 or 5 activities that you can pick and chose from depending on time and age group. I found it very helpful to just have it all there instead of having to come up with creative ideas on my own. Not every activity did I like, but most of them. Worth buying if you work with kids and want some hands-on ways to make the Bible real.
